We rebuilt the Lauderhill Community Redevelopment Agency’s website to showcase ongoing neighborhood transformation while serving multiple stakeholder groups. The challenge was creating a municipal site that feels approachable and engaging rather than bureaucratic and sterile.
The design incorporates vibrant visual elements that reflect Lauderhill’s diverse cultural identity while maintaining the authority expected of a government website. Interactive project maps allow residents to visualize development progress in their neighborhoods, making abstract redevelopment concepts tangible and relatable.
We structured the content around the CRA’s two distinct districts—Central CRA and State Road 7 CRA—while maintaining cohesive branding across both areas. The site clearly communicates opportunities for residents (homeownership programs), businesses (grants and incentives), and developers (investment opportunities), serving each audience’s specific needs.
Community events and success stories are prominently featured, emphasizing the CRA’s role in creating not just physical improvements but genuine community connections. The mobile-responsive design ensures all residents can access resources and information regardless of their device or technical sophistication.
