KidFile — Child Information App for Parents & Caregivers
The problem: the information a caregiver needs about a child — allergies, medication doses, routines, emergency contacts, documents, sizes — lives scattered across texts, notes apps, and parents' memories. Handing a child off to a grandparent or babysitter means re-explaining everything, and hoping nothing critical gets missed.
KidFile puts all of it in one place and shares it through a secure care-card link. Design Develop Now built the full product: native iOS and Android apps developed in React Native, plus the marketing website at kidfileapp.com.
The defining design decision is the shareable care card, which opens instantly in any browser with no app download required — because the babysitter should not need to install anything to know a child's allergy. Parents control what each caregiver can see with per-person access controls, and the product runs on subscription plans with free and paid tiers.
